We are a small hobby breeder located in the heart of Southeastern Ontario, We live in the very picturesque country setting of Seeley's Bay. Our back door looks out upon 29 acres of rolling field's, gorgeous rock escarpments topped by century old pines and majestic oaks. We even have a Lake at the back of our property! We have found our forever home!

I/we have been raising Boston Terriers since 2006. They are my passion, possible obsession so my husband tells me... These little dogs have completely stolen my heart! We are raising our puppies with conformation, temperament and over all health in mind. I am trying to make a small imprint in our province, to maintain the breed "Boston Terrier" as it should be. There are far to many "other breeders" out there just for profit, as long as they get that final dollar they are happy! My puppies are raised in a loving home environment with lots of human interaction & preparing them for the big outside world.
We are a family of 4, My husband Charles and myself Megan have 2 wonderful children. I am currently a stay at home mom, but plan to have a small home based business when my daughter goes to school full time.
We chose to move to a country setting after living in a typical suburban neighborhood. The lifestyle of having neighbors practically sitting right on top of you didn't appeal to us any longer. We wanted our children to be able to grow up in a safer environment & also get out to enjoy the "real" outdoors.
We are owned by 8 wonderful dogs! 3 boys and 4 girls (Bostons) and one Lab! All our dogs live in our home, share all the same comforts! The couch, chair, heat from the pelletstove... You get my point! They have all become our "fur kids"
We also have 30 or so chickens. They are all Heritage Breed laying hens. They are really fun to have around the yard
Additionally we have a (6 yr old) rescued 4.5 ft Green Iguana! He is appropriately named "Moose", he is a conversation piece for sure!
We have recently (October 08) adopted 2 pygmy/angora goat twins and a pot belly pig!
We also have 3 house cats, Cole (12 yrs) & McDuff (7yrs) and our latest kitten Hank, a stray that just showed up one day...
My days are very busy looking after all our animals, but we enjoy having them so much it doesn't seem like much of a chore at all.
Friends and family always love to come visit as our is like a mini petting zoo!! Lol...
Back to the dogs... All the dogs are crate trained, they sleep in them at night, for the exception of Cricket. She sleeps with my son. Spoiled...
The others are happy to go to "their beds" it's their own little safe haven. We sometimes give in and invite one of the dogs onto our bed. They all get human bed privileges from time to time. If we had a gigantic bed they would all sleep with us!
During the day they have a huge play area. They have their own little cabana with ramp, sunbrella for shade on top of the cabana and a kiddie pool for cooling off and lounging! They also have tons of space to do the BT 500 and dig if they so choose...
Bogart, Cricket & Oscar enjoying the morning rays....
Oscar & Pixie playing tag ball!
Looking at the big picture, I want to start showing a few of our dogs in early 2009.
We hope to get both Nate and Dancey in the ring in the new year. We have completed our handling classes and feel with a little more time we will all be ready to give it a shot. This will be a whole new experience for us. We are really looking forward to the challenges and hands on experience.
Hopefully with some of my pairings, we will one day be rewarded with a perfect little home bred show puppy of our own! I want to hopefully start my own string of Rockridge CH.
In the mean time, with every litter we have, likely 2-3 a year, there will always be a few puppies looking for their new forever homes of their own!
